This is a preliminary announcement of the conference on "Interactions between compressed sensing, random matrices and high dimensional geometry ," to be held on the campus of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée from May 3until May 7, 2010.

The workshop will cover a broad range of topics of modern mathematical physics, including random matrices and random operators, statistical physics, quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, transportation of measures, certain aspects of the PDE, etc.

Those interested in participating in this workshop are invited to register on-line.
(Registration is free but compulsory.)

Participation of postdocs and PhD students is strongly encouraged.
